Less Television, More Free Time

Television can be fun sometimes but it can also stop you from achieving your goals. I know scores of people who spend countless hours of their lives in front of the television, some spend the entire weekends watching shows, specially football games. Television companies are dedicated to tricking you into watching more television as possible because they make money off your time- the more you watch the more money the make off their ads. On a personal level, the more television you consume the less you are producing yourself which leads you never being able to accomplish anything. I have a friend who spend entire weekends on the couch watching football games, he fails to see that even though he dreams of having a business, earning more money or even learning further skills to make more money he is not able to do any of this because of his time spent in front of the television.

Spending less time watching TV yields more time for family activities such as teaching your kids the importance of producing crafts, money management, outdoor games, interaction with each other but if you are eager to start a business or continue your education further you can spend more time reading books, lessons and how-to articles such as on entrepreneurship, business tax breaks, computer programming, leadership and even mediation.
It saddens me to see people complain about having such little time available because they work too much, but fail to realize that their TV addiction is preventing them from greatness. They must also put other time aside like family time to instead be productive and so their families pay the toll for poor lack of time management and lack of dedication. Get rid of your television and you too can find yourself being extremely productive and being more satisfied with your everyday.

STOP GIVING UP YOUR LIFE TO THIS:

Random thought...

Our life is full of meaning but since the moment we are born the definition of us being human beings is diluted with consumerism and by the time we are all 20 we have been exposed through so much greed, hatred, and confusion forcing us to think that we have a purpose in life and that purpose often involves working until the day we die, "saving" money, have a  family and work harder so we can provide more things for them. Unthink is unlearning all of this and re learning the meaning of our own lives. We have the power to refocus our lives and give it more meaning while working less but enjoying life more and in cases even earning more than before. Free your mind with the art of less and become a greater you.
